There are many common questions and answers when using safes and safe deposit boxes. The editor of Henan Huadu Times Furniture has summarized the common problems below so that you can solve them yourself when using the safe deposit box, saving a lot of unnecessary trouble!
There are usually several situations in which a safe cannot be opened.
1. If you follow the correct steps to open the door, the green light flashes and then turns red, and the door cannot be opened, it means that the voltage is insufficient. You should replace the battery in time for normal use. (This situation is the most common)
2. If you follow the correct instructions to open the door, the green light comes on, and you hear the code engaging, but the door doesn't open automatically, this could be caused by the door being stuck or stuck. You can stand the safe upright and tap the door panel toward you with your palm, or wrap a small blade with cloth, insert it slightly from the edge of the door frame, and pry it outward to loosen it. The door will open. It's also possible that the elastic rod is not elastic enough and cannot push the door open. After opening the door with the emergency key, adjust the elastic rod spring to the appropriate position. Alternatively, observe the four sides of the small door to see if the gaps on each side are the same width. If one side is too tight or the small door is sagging, the door will not open automatically. In this case, add a small shim to the hinge to raise the lower edge to the appropriate position. (If you are not familiar with the internal structure of the safe and cannot complete this method yourself, you can ask after-sales staff for help with this method.)
3. If you do not hear the closing sound of the code during the door opening operation, or only the yellow light flashes, it proves that the safe's working stroke has not been completed, or that the transmission parts cannot be driven due to a component failure. In this case, you need to contact professional after-sales personnel for replacement or repair of parts.
4. If the battery voltage is low, the door will not open. Simply replace the battery.
5. If it is not inserted in place, it will also affect the door opening. Check whether it is inserted in place.
6. Check if there is any foreign matter in the door gap that may cause the bolt to get stuck. Clean out the foreign matter and lubricate the bolt and hinges to make them more flexible.
If the screws are loose and the bolt falls into the bolt sleeve, you need to contact professional after-sales maintenance personnel for processing.
8. If the safe's password and key are correct, but the door won't open, carefully check the battery symbol on the safe's screen. If the safe's screen shows no signal, it's likely the battery is dead. If the battery symbol shows only one bar of power and appears intermittently, it also means the battery capacity is low. Although there is still one bar of power, it is not enough to open the door, so it won't open.
(1) Simply insert your spare key (the short, round key on the right that you don't usually use) into the keyhole on the right side of the safe, then insert your regular key into the keyhole on the left side. Then, turn both keys toward the middle point between them to open the door. Then, open the small battery cover on the back of the door, replace the batteries, and you're done!
(2) Another way to open the door is to use the external power supply of the safe (there is a small square box inside the safe when you buy it, with a plug terminal on one end) and plug it directly into a small jack below the number keys on the safe panel (note that the external battery socket is relatively hidden, you need to squat down and look up from the bottom of the safe to see it, or you can touch the bottom edge of the number keys with your hand to feel the small jack). Install new batteries in the external power supply, then enter the password normally, and the key can be used to open the door. Then, install the batteries in the external power supply into the battery box behind the safe panel.
9. After replacing the batteries and the green light is on, why doesn't the door open? There are two possibilities: First, the customer's batteries are low, causing this problem. Solution: Replace the batteries with qualified ones. Second, the lock chuck may be stuck in the main electromagnet when inserting the key and then pressing the combination, preventing the key from turning properly. Solution: Insert the large key flat, enter the large key, enter the combination, and when the green light comes on, turn the key to open the safe door.
10. The key of the newly purchased safe can be turned, but why can't the door be opened? Because in order to protect the paint on the door edge of the new safe when it leaves the factory, a protective carpet is placed on the lower left corner. When the key is turned to the open position, please hold the large key handle with your right hand and pull the carpet outward with your left hand.
