This standard is formulated to guide the general installation and acceptance of warehouse racking , ensure quality and safety, promote technological progress, and improve economic efficiency.
1. Warehouse racking installation should be carried out according to the drawings. If any discrepancies are found between the site conditions or the design during construction, they should be raised promptly, and construction can only proceed after the changes are approved.
2. All measuring and testing instruments, meters and equipment used in the installation shall comply with the provisions of the current national metrology regulations, and their accuracy class shall not be lower than the accuracy class required for installation.
3. Concealed works before the installation of warehouse racking should be inspected before the works are concealed, and construction can only continue after they pass the inspection.
4. A self-test should be performed during installation.
5. In addition to complying with this specification, the installation and construction of warehouse racking shall also comply with the provisions of current national (industry) standards and specifications.
II. Construction Preparation
1. Construction conditions 1) Before installation, the drawings should be familiarized; for special or complex installations, a construction plan should be prepared.
2) Before installation, the conditions of the transportation roads and power supply at the installation site should be understood.
3) Before installation, the on-site roof and interior painting works should be basically completed, the relevant foundation floor and ditches should be completed, and the concrete strength should not be less than 75% of the design strength; debris and garbage at and near the installation site should be cleaned up.
4) When using the building structure as a lifting load point, the owner's consent is required.
2. Inspection and safekeeping of incoming mail
1) Before unpacking or opening the box, check against the "Shipping List" and "Standard Parts Packing List" and make a record. If loose packages, missing parts, or serious damage are found, report it in time. Take photos of loose packages, damaged parts, or severely worn parts on the spot and send the images back in time.
2) When unpacking, the components should be inspected against the part drawing to check the specifications, tolerances and other dimensions. Any errors should be reported in a timely manner.
3) Components, machinery and tools shall be properly stored and shall not be deformed, damaged, misplaced or lost.
3. Inspection of Embedded Parts (Pre-cast Pit) 1) The layout, geometric dimensions, and quality requirements of embedded parts (pre-cast pits) should conform to the specifications in the drawings. Embedded parts (pre-cast pits) should be re-inspected after layout or before installation.
III. Assembly and Laying Out
1. During assembly, each component should be checked individually, the dimensions of the components should be verified, and a layout guide should be established. The construction area should be demarcated according to the plan and the axis lines, edge lines, and elevation lines of the relevant buildings.
2. Installation baseline. Determine the location of the baseline and draw lines based on it.
3. When using the horizontal rope-pole method to measure straightness and parallelism, the following requirements should be met:
1) Cotton thread with a diameter of 0.35-0.5mm is recommended;
2) Both ends should be supported by pulleys at the same elevation.
3) The selection of the weight of the counterweight should be determined based on the horizontal tension generated by the counterweight and the diameter of the rope.
IV. Anchor Bolts
The anchor bolts of the device shall meet the following requirements:
1. The center line of the expansion bolt shall be laid out according to the drawing. The distance from the bottom of the expansion bolt to the bottom surface of the foundation shall not be less than 3d and not less than 30mm; the center distance between two adjacent expansion bolts shall not be less than 7.5d.
2. The drilling of expansion bolts should prevent them from colliding with the reinforcing bars, embedded pipes, cables and other buried objects in the foundation; pre-drilled holes should not be used.
3. The concrete strength of the foundation for installing the expansion bolts shall not be less than 10 MPa (inquire with customer).
4. Expansion bolts must not be used in areas with floor cracks. The diameter and depth of the expansion bolt holes should conform to the specifications in Table I, and the drilling depth may exceed the specified value by 5-10 mm; the hole diameter and depth should be checked promptly after drilling.
5. The exposed portion of the expansion bolts should be vertical.
V. Erecting column plates
1. The erected columns can be constructed using manual (pulleys, etc.) or mechanical (crane, etc.) methods, depending on their height and weight, and a certain number of crossbeams can be provided to form a stable structure.
2. After erecting, count the rows and columns, check the orientation and dimensions according to the drawing, and make preliminary adjustments to the elevation, verticality, and horizontality. If there are other accessories, install them one by one to ensure that all data meet the standards, and then install them row by row.
3. When using a leveling pad, the following regulations should be met:
1) The number of pads in each pad group should be reduced to no more than 5. When placing them, the thicker ones should be placed at the bottom and the thinner ones in the middle.
2) Each set of pads should be placed neatly and stably with good contact.
3) After leveling, each set of pads should be pressed tightly.
4. When installing the crossbeam, both ends must be fully engaged and the safety pins inserted.
5. The unique features of each type of storage rack (such as drive-in rack, mezzanine rack, cantilever rack, gravity rack, etc.) will be installed separately according to their sequence and requirements. VI. On-site processing during installation.
If the drawings require on-site welding or drilling during installation, the operation and processing should be carried out in accordance with the relevant technical standards.
VII. Adjustments
1. The overall level and vertical adjustment of the warehouse racks should be carried out until they meet the standards.
2. If the contract requires it, a load-bearing test of the crossbeam should be conducted to test the deflection of the crossbeam.
3. For vehicles equipped with stacker cranes or forklifts, a positioning test run should be performed.
4. Small areas of missed areas, peeling, or wear on the surface of components should be recoated.
5. All fasteners should be tightened, with bolts protruding 2-4 threads above the nut; after tightening countersunk screws, the countersunk head should be embedded in the component and not exposed. VIII. Acceptance
1. After the installation project is completed, it shall be inspected and accepted in accordance with the standards set by the company's technical department or the standards specified in the contract.
2. The following documents should be available during acceptance:
1) Site plan (or a site plan with modifications noted upon completion);
2) Relevant information regarding design modifications;
3) Self-test records;
4) Other relevant information.
3. Acceptance procedures should be completed.
