II. Surface Phosphating Process
① Phosphating is mainly carried out by impregnation.
② Phosphating treatment uses zinc-calcium dihydrogen phosphate as the main component of the solution. The phosphating bath solution is prepared and adjusted according to the process specifications.
③ After phosphating, the workpiece is thoroughly cleaned with running water to improve the cleaning quality of the working surface, and hot complexing acid solution is used for sealing treatment.
④ After phosphating and washing, the workpiece is dried in a dryer before it can be powder coated.
⑤ The time interval between phosphating and powder coating of the workpiece shall not exceed 24 hours.
III. Appearance of the phosphating film on the surface
① The workpiece is gray after phosphating, and the film layer is dense, continuous and uniform.
② The thickness of the film layer is generally controlled at 5 mm.
③ Surface inspection of phosphating: Use a test solution to observe the droplet changing from sky blue to pale yellow or pale red, and ensuring it does not change color within a specified time. Finished products are then put into storage and proceed to the powder coating process.
